Dear Upper Big Branch families.
ReplyDeleteWith buckets packed and hard hats on,
They go to earn their pay.
Miners have a special bond,
They live it every day.
All miners share the burden,
When one has lost his life.
The coal mines never could replace,
The kiss he gave his wife.
It's a special kind of job,
Only miners do.
No matter how far down they go,
Angels go there too!
We miss the ones that God called home,
And the jokes that they have told.
The coal dust floors they use to walk,
Now have turned to gold.
Deep in the earth, across the land,
The miners did their best.
Their bodies go back in the ground,
Their place of final rest.
To all the families who have lost their loved ones, I am terribly sorry && You are in my thoughts and prayers <3

Dear UBB mine families,
ReplyDeleteI know how you feel when you loose someone close to you. I have lost both an old friend and close uncle. I have also almost lost my grandfather. It was very hard for me. I was very sad for many months, but it did get easier. I keep them in my mind every day. I rember the all the great times we had and that helps. I also rember that they are with me at all times, they are in my heart. If you always rember that it helps, a lot. It may be hard, but you have to move on with your life. I’m not telling you to forget, just simply rember the good times, know that they love you, and want you to live your full life. You’ll see them again. Take a day every month or year or whenever to dedicate to them because it helps also. Take one day at a time.
Sincerely,
A girl named Sara
